My deviantART Story

Greetings Everyone,

Happy 14th Birthday to Deviant Art. Thanks goes to all of the Deviant Art Website staff for creating and maintaining a wonderful website to be on and be a part of. Not only do I get to see wonderful artwork from people around the World I also get to showcase my Cosplay Photography photos for other Deviant Artists to see. During the last two years I have made new friends and talked to many wonderful people on this site. This site has changed me in a good way and I thank all of my Deviant Art friends, fans, and supporters for being their for me and helping make my hobby a worthwhile pursuit. Here are some highlights that I would like to share:

This is a very special photo to me. It was one of the first cosplay photos that I have ever taken and it is my Deviant Art fans and watchers favorite one that I have posted to date. This photo was also one of the first ones that I posted on Deviant Art. Due to it's popularity it encouraged me to post more photos for people to see.

2. Needing Comfort

This is one of the many photos over the years that I have Loved sharing with everyone on Deviant Art. In my photo's description's I often tell a brief story of why I took the photo and or why it's special to me. To my surprise one of the two cosplayers identified herself in a comment on the photos page. I thanked her for posing for me and I added a link to her page on this photos description. When I can I give credit to other Deviant Artists for their work and contributing to mine.

I also cherish each and every comment that my watchers and fans post on my photo pages. Redspiderlillies posted this comment on this photo: "Chi and Freya!! Aw, they look so cute!"

3. Taking A Break

This photo is from my first personal Photoshoot. I created the "Jafax 18 Lyfa Photoshoot" album on Deviant Art just to showcase the best photos from this photoshoot. In the album I got to show other Deviant Artists how well a wonderful cosplayers new outfit turned out. Missy's posing added to my talent and the comments that I got encouraged me to do more photoshoots.

By the time that I took this photo in April of this year I was taking photos of cosplayers from Popular Anime series that I liked a lot and I knew my Deviant Art fans would like to see as well. My hobby had transformed from taking photos for just my enjoyment to taking ones of Cosplay characters that were for my Deviant Art fans as well.

During the two years that I have been on Deviant Art I have done 32 Critiques of other Deviant Artists works. My photo Pink Chiffon was used to help me critique a drawing of the same character. I enjoy helping out other Deviant Artists by writing helpful and encouraging critiques.

5. Together Again!!

Cosplayer - Myself

One of the things that has amazed me on Deviant Art is not only the interest in my Cosplay Photography but of my own Cosplay outfits as well. In this photo I'm Cosplaying Syaoran from the "Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles" series. I found at a convention a Princess Sakura cosplayer from the same series and had a photo taken with her. I showcased the photo of cosplay work for my deviant art fans and got to share some of the joy with them that I get from going to Cosplay / Anime conventions.

I have enjoyed my adventure during the last two years on Deviant Art and I can't wait to see what happens next.
